Driving Youth Toward Success
Drive & Thrive helps eligible youth access driver's education and take an important step toward independence. By supporting youth as they work toward their driver's license, Eddy County CASA is helping them build the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive as they transition into adulthood.
Who is DRIVE & THRIVE FOR?
Drive & Thrive is designed to support Eddy County youth who face barriers to accessing driver's education and obtaining their driver's license.
Youth may be considered for the program based on circumstances such as:
- Financial barriers that make the cost of driver's education difficult to afford
- Limited or unreliable access to transportation
- Family or household circumstances that create additional barriers to obtaining a driver's license
- Youth from households where English is not the primary language and additional support may be needed to access driver's education
- Other circumstances that may make it difficult for a young person to access driver's education independently
Drive & Thrive is open to eligible youth in our community, whether or not they are currently involved with Eddy County CASA.
